Warm Hearts Gaza is dedicated to distributing essential clothing to children and elderly in need. This initiative protects them from harsh elements and brings much-needed comfort, ensuring that even in the most challenging circumstances, children feel cared for and warm.

More than just aid: A community of care

Warm Hearts Gaza is more than a fundraising campaign; it is a community of people determined to bring dignity, warmth, and hope to families living through one of the worst humanitarian crises in the world. Instead of promising large-scale projects, Warm Hearts Gaza focuses on simple, life-affirming acts of care: community-led clothing drives that provide warm clothes and essentials to children and the elderly, helping them face harsh conditions with comfort and dignity. Together, donors, volunteers, and families form a circle of care where every jacket, sweater, or pair of shoes is a reminder that they have not been forgotten.

Our unique approach and impact

What makes Warm Hearts Gaza special is its focus on the people who are most often overlooked: displaced families, youth, women, and children in hard-to-reach areas, who may have gone months without consistent aid. We prioritize local partnerships, community-led solutions, and transparent impact reporting, so supporters can see how their contributions translate into real warmth for children and opportunities for social and economic recovery. Every action directly protects lives and futures in a place where it is desperately needed.

  • Fully crowdfunded: every dollar comes from individual donors who want to stand with Palestine’s children.

  • Clothing provided to 110+ people in the Gaza Strip, primarily young children, with each package tailored to their needs.

Thanks to the generosity of our global community, Warm Hearts Gaza has already raised over 10,000 USD and mobilized more than 300 individual supporters. This fully crowdfunded effort has allowed us to provide essential clothing and warmth to over 110 people across the Gaza Strip, with a focus on young children who are living through displacement, cold nights, and ongoing humanitarian crisis.

 

Our Community-Based Team in Gaza

Warm Hearts Gaza is powered by small, dedicated teams working inside Gaza’s communities, supported by their siblings and family members. These teams ensure that every act of support is local, dignified, and tailored to the needs of each child and family.

  • Hamouda’s team in Khan Yunis – Led by Hamouda Qudaih, supported by his sisters Ghada and Sanaa, and other family members who help with purchasing, distribution, and filming.

  • Tasneem’s team in Nuseirat – Led by Tasneem, working with her family to reach families in and around Nuseirat camp who are facing displacement and hardship.

 

Why many Palestinian women stay off camera?

Most women in Palestine don’t show their faces or post themselves on social media because of modesty and religious reasons. Because of this, they often receive less support—people assume that if a woman won’t go on video or share selfies, she isn’t really Palestinian and must be a scammer. In reality, many Palestinian women are protecting their dignity, privacy, and families, and their choice to stay off camera should never cost them care; these women deserve our full trust, solidarity, and support.

How our team supports families

Our team members identify vulnerable children and adults in their neighborhoods and surrounding areas, then create and manage a waitlist to prioritize those with the greatest needs. They coordinate directly with each beneficiary to understand clothing needs, sizing, and personal preferences, so that every package feels thoughtful and personalized.

In emergency situations or when families are too far from a distribution point, some beneficiaries are referred for direct support from the program. In these cases, funds are sent via money transfer so that families can purchase clothing themselves and share photos of the items, allowing us to extend our reach across Gaza while staying accountable and transparent.

Respectful, flexible, and culturally sensitive aid

Team members look for the lowest prices available, often checking multiple merchants to ensure they receive a relatively low commission rate and can stretch every donation as far as possible. Clothing items generally range from 25–55 USD per mid‑range item, depending on local prices and availability.

They organize purchasing, delivery, and pick‑up in ways that work best for each family, so beneficiaries can choose how and where to receive their clothing. This community-led process means that receiving aid is respectful, flexible, and culturally sensitive, and that families maintain dignity and choice during an extremely difficult time.
