Who we are looking for

We welcome volunteers deeply moved by the Palestinian cause and committed to humanitarian ethics, solidarity, and justice. We seek reflective, empathetic individuals willing to listen, learn, and stand with communities facing crisis and displacement.

A good fit is someone proactive and creative about their contributions, whether making videos, creating educational resources, helping with digital outreach, or amplifying our work within their networks. We are especially excited to work with those who want to co-create initiatives, such as supporting children without access to education in crisis zones, and who are ready to collaborate respectfully with our team and community partners.

We also value volunteers who can commit to reliability and accountability in whatever role they take on, even if it is a small one. People who are open to feedback and willing to uphold safeguarding and anti-discrimination principles are essential.

Volunteers can support Raz Impact Evolved in many ways, both on the ground in Ottawa and remotely in solidarity with Palestine. In Ottawa, volunteers can help us host events, workshops, and community gatherings, support outreach at campuses and local organizations, and assist with logistics, documentation, and coordination for campaigns and educational programs.

Remotely, volunteers can contribute by creating or editing videos and digital content, designing educational resources, and supporting our social media and communications to amplify Palestinian voices and humanitarian stories. People who are willing to share their professional or creative skills — for example in teaching, mentoring, or workshop facilitation can help us offer online learning support and skill-building opportunities for children and youth in or from crisis zones, especially those with limited access to education.

Across all of these roles, volunteers help us research and share credible information, fundraise and mobilize networks, and stand with communities facing displacement and occupation.
